I’m not selling any work here. I don’t feel at this time that it’s worth the paperwork for taxes on the pittance I would make.
On the other hand, I’m not taking up a lot of drivespace with my small sized works either.
If you like my work, your kind comments are appreciated.
If I can help you, let me know!
Nice balance, color and focus. Makes me want to walk down those tracks and enjoy the view.
Thanks Greg. I was walking those tracks for sure. Deserted place. This is a remake. I posted it in b&w but my sharpening translated to oversharpening with RB’s compression of the display image. This is better, but it still may not be the best it can be. I might like the color version better. I sort of liked how the rails reflected the blue of the sky. Thanks for looking.

Cee, thank you for the feature! It’s very rewarding to know someone appreciates what I do.-Katya
Great!!! Love that blue layer!
Thank you, Ale! I’m glad you like it!
Going on a journey just like the one I took through your portfolio. You have a great eye for composition from what I can see in nearly all your photos. Thank you for the virtual tour of the world seen through you eyes.
I really appreciate your taking the time to view my work, and for your thoughtful comments & compliments. Thank you, and you’re welcome.
Love your portfolio. Excellent DOF & sharp from foreground to background. Very well done. F22 ?
Winston, thank you for your time and for the kind comment. This was actually shot at f5.6 (the Leica lens on that camera only goes to f8). Even when I use a DSLR I don’t generally stop down that far. (see this article). Thanks again.-Katya
