Nice idea to have that moon melted there and also the thing on the left. This gives me moody kinda calm vibes. It could also be my vision while walking in drunk some where deep in Lapland…. I like this, good work!
whoa this is great, so other worldly with the light in the windows and the starlight glimmers. and the little cross just enough to let you see it in front of the wavy moon. Wonderful art
I do appreciate the encouragement. I’m happy that you enjoyed this image. I hope to be creating some new works, and hopefully they will be worth looking at. As I said above, this one was at one time with a narrative on one of my blogs.
Incredible piece of work. The “eyes” of the building are wanting to say something I’m sure… Very dark, but at the same time, very peaceful… Great Stuff ! Regards, h
I love this! the distortion in the air to the left is both creepy and awesome. I love the cross against the moon, and the cross-like window frames. (I have a thing for crosses, actually) :D
Yes, indeed. I once used this to illustrate a story I wrote about being abandoned in the woods by my peers when I was a young teenager as a cruel joke, but the joke was on them – I’m not afraid of the dark, I’m part of it, a child of it, I live and revel in it…..
I want thank you for taking your valuable time to view my work and for the thoughtful comments. I am so lifted by your wonderful visit!
Thank you so much, Issa. Your haiku is beautiful, and autumn is my favorite season too (if you have time, take a look at my blog entry on Autumn in my blog, Rapunzel’s Melancholy Demise. I want to take a more in-depth look at your photos. The ability to write haiku, btw, eludes me (but not the ability to appreciate it). My contrary, dark-minded muse simply will not grant it to me. -Katya
Oh, so much more than beautiful. This photograph is so amazingly stunning, there are simply no words to adequately describe its magnificance. Extremely professional!
Hells Bells…i would take my chances in the forest rather than knock on this door…i see the beauty in this deep scene unfolding..yet my Axe is vibrating in my hand…a bad omen…Mudman
