Based in Brisbane I am a keen photographer and graphic designer. I have been extending my skills extensively since studying a Certificate IV and now a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design.

Last year (2008) I undertook Project 365, which is a photography project where the participant takes a photo every day for 365 days, or one full year. I chose to take two photos a day, one of myself and an image of something else I saw each day. Completing this has been an awakening experience, each photo has not only allowed me to look back on how I have changed physically but also how different I have felt emotionally each day. The other photos were just as interesting, especially to take, as it made me look for the smaller things. Objects, themes and subjects that I previously overlooked.

I am very interested in sky photography especially shots that allow the viewer to take a closer look and see it as more then just an unexceptional backdrop.

I attempt to take shots of other subjects that increase this awareness of the backdrops of our lives.
