Old trucks certainly have their own texture, but sometimes adding a bit makes them even better. I still don’t fully understand how to create textured photos. For instance, when there are large areas of white (such as a blown-out sky) on the background layer, it keeps bleeding through to all the subsequent layers of texture. But if I start with a base texture layer and add the main photo on top of that as a layer, the sky blends quite nicely with the texture. Why? I have no idea. I have so much to learn.
