I was on my way to photograph flowers when the sky began to cloud over and I knew this would be the perfect day to photograph Helen Hunt Falls in Colorado Springs.

I’ve been wanting to do a black and white shoot of the falls for some time. The rush of water against the stark gray rocks translates beautifully into monotone.
