While we were on holidays we spent 4 nights on a working sheep station. They had 165,000 hectares and allowed us to wander around at our will.

We were invited to watch them work with some sheep in the yards and take some photos.

Canon 5DMKII
Canon 70-200mm 2.8L
Location: Turlee Station

The station has easy access to Mungo National Park and the air-conditioned cabins were great.

Photography has become a real passion of mine and I take a lot of pride in the images that I create.

The majority of my images are available for sale on this site.

The kinds of things you take pictures of on holidays. But I must admit I’ve never seen one like this on a postcard.

  • Maybe there is a market for it?

Gosh I love this shot! I have to admit .. being from America .. the outback of Australia fascinates me. This image is exactly the kind of thing I imagine when I think of the outback … hope you’re not laughing. :-) The diagonal line you have going supports the dynamic aspect of this image. The dust flying against the blue sky … well done, Malcolm.

  • Thanks Sandra, the outback is a special place and I can’t get enough of it.
