I’m planning on returning to the Valley of the Waters for a photo shoot this coming Wednesday but plan to do the walk from Wentworth Falls to Vera Falls to the Conservation Hut.
If anyone has any suggestions or advice about the track please let me know.
If you are interesting in joining us on the we would be pleased if you wanted to come along. Send me a note and I will give you the details.

This is a great walk Malcolm, the section that leads down to Vera Falls can become undefined and hard to follow. It also gets quite steep in some sections near Vera Falls. You need to be careful because you will be walking right on top of the steep cliff over Vera Falls, once you get to the bottom of Vera Falls there is no set track leading up to the base of the falls but you can stumble over a few rocks to get a good vantage spot and there is a nice, smaller cascading waterfall at the bottom of the falls aswell.

Thank you for the info Andrew. I might have to defer the walk depending on the weather as I thought that the rain would be gone by Wednesday.

I did this walk 3 years ago malcolm once you turn left to head down to vera falls if gets more interesting, there’s a creek crossing where you may get wet feet, look out for the 1924 graffite on the far bank cared into a rock
when i did the walk it was a fairly well defined track but who knows whats happened in 3 years.
There is a plaque to the memory of a bush walker right at the bottom, would love to go but unable on a wendesday

It’s a great walk Donny and there are some stunning scenes to photograph. I didn’t see the carving though. I wouldn’t mind doing it again sometime.
