Couldn’t resist that sweet little face peeking out from behind the sheer curtains.

Oh, Kat, this is just lovely!! I love how you included the surrounding area – the vines especially… and the muted colors are great! One my favorite early b&w successes was a cat in a window… they always make me wonder what life is like on the other side of the drapes!! Love this!! xx

  • Hi Kim, I have passed by this house so many times.. it’s an older house, well kept-up, with a lot of charm and I never knew a cat lived there but that face caught my eye…I left it as it was out of the camera as I didn’t want to disturb the stained glass at the top of the window… it just worked out fine out of the camera and I’m starting to leave well enough alone now…thank you for your wonderful comment…!

Have to confess that I don’t like cats – but this is a wonderful photo! Somehow, the bare creeper, the wintry light and the cat’s eyes suggest bleak loneliness. (Or am I being too fanciful?)

  • Hi Bette, I don’t know… I hope the cat is not lonely but he’s belongs to people so that’s better than being homeless..thanks for stopping by..even though you are not a cat fan…
