This popular bench sits in Toronto’s High Park and overlooks Toronto’s famed and busy Bloor Street . You’d be hard pressed to find a better place to sit and view the world in all its diversity … yet in the cold weather this bench, itself… sits alone…

Oh this is just beautiful! I love how the red punch punctuates the winter scene! And did you notice that small grouping of orangey/red leaves that draw the eye up! Excellent composition!
    Welcome to RB! :-D

Wonderful contrast of colour between the warm russet brown of the bench against the white of the snow and the more muted colours of the trees. There’s a certain softness to the background which adds to giving the bench prominence in the image.

Those leaves! Yes, I also like the way they invite the eye to browse through the trees. Also especially like how you captured that patch of snow on the bench that acts like an anchor so the color of the bench doesn’t isolate it out of the context of the composition. Personally, I could sit on that bench forever with a thermos of hot cocoa. Peace, Edward

I love your take on this scene. Whilst the bench is inviting, my eye wanders to the beautiful soft forest behind to explore more. This flows so well:)Cat

This really is lovely and the “soft” processing is just great.
