Nice colourful work Kat. Where have you been? Haven’t seen work from you for ages.
Thanks for the comment! I know, I’ve been so busy with my writing and I ran out of art supplies. You on the other hand, I see, have been very busy and put a gazillion images on your site. Your work looks amazing!

Good to see you back. Thanks for the kind comment, Kat. If you get chance to view any, tell me what you think.
Nice rendering of the landscape Katkuzma, this really has a peaceful feel to it.
Thanks Marilyn! I really enjoyed painting it
Lovely painting Kat – It has a very ‘American’ feel – the clouds especially remind me of some of the Hudson river school painters – simple but very beautiful landscape painting – well done!…x
Thanks, Kafka! Means a lot coming from an artist such as yourself
I can almost smell the sage, and hear the silence of dusty arroyos as they sing to the clouds for rain, clouds that will build over those mountains and bring more wind than water, wind that will sweep what little rain that falls, back into the sky……
Thanks for taking me back to New Mexico
Thank you so much, Kevin! Your poetic description of New Mexico brought me back as well.
Very impressive clouds! The colours and lines in this painting are very well chosen! Wonderful work.
Thanks so much, Arie! I really appreciate your discriminitive eye. It means a lot coming from such an artist as yourself.
Grabs a feeling of those wide open spaces. Love the subtle grass colours too – the greens and purples.
Thanks so much, shallay, for your supportive comments! I really appreciate the feedback.
I really like this! Love how you did the sky. Beautifully done, Kathy~
Thanks so much, Mary. I really appreciate your inspiring comments. I think the painting looks better off screen for some reason. It won second place in an exhibit I entered last year.
Congratulations! This work is featured in the Landscape Painting Group – 29th January 2011
