If the name sounds familiar, then that might be due to the fact that the plant properties can be used in the treatment of mild cases of depression – in herbal treatments! This flower begins to bloom in late spring and reaches its glory days in mid-summer where you can spot large patches of these bright yellow blooms along the sides of roads, highways, in fields and long forgotten pastures. Passekeag, New Brunswick, Canada. Captured on a CASIO EXILIM Z-2000.

I never leave the front door without my camera. I can’t seem to put it down for long. Perhaps that makes me an addict rather than an enthusiast ~ sometimes it is hard to tell the difference. But, in any case, thank you very much for taking the time to browse through my collection. I hope you enjoy what you see! ~ Sincerely, Katie
