Introducing leggings. You’ll never run out of inspiration.

St. John’s Anglican Church built in 1824. ‘Stone Church’ (as it is popularly called) is interesting in that most of the materials used in its construction were actually not quarried here but, rather, were taken from the ballast loads in the ships coming into the harbour from England. Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Captured on a Canon EOS Rebel T3i with an EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II lens.

I never leave the front door without my camera. I can’t seem to put it down for long. Perhaps that makes me an addict rather than an enthusiast ~ sometimes it is hard to tell the difference. But, in any case, thank you very much for taking the time to browse through my collection. I hope you enjoy what you see! ~ Sincerely, Katie

Beautiful work Kathleen. I can’t imagine the amount of work that goes into cutting and shaping all that stone but after nearly 100 years I guess it was worth all the effort. What a clever way to collect building materials!

  • often the history behind the building materials is just as fascinating as the building themselves! thank you for the wonderful compliment and fave otto! i’m so glad you like it and so happy that you read the descriptions!!
