A fish out of water, a seed unsown,
My life has taken me where I don’t want to be.
Fear and doubt lead me, but faith is at my side,
Keeping me upright, guiding me through life.
I’ve seen raging waters, mountains tall and wide;
Seen the struggles that some label as their life.
Now, seeing is believing, and I’ve never doubted that,
But being plagued with darkness is something no one expects.
It’s my closes friend and my worst enemy,
Holding me back and keeping me from living.
Embodied in a flesh much like my own, it takes on the illusion that it is here to do no harm.
An understanding so deep, I can no longer understand,
For now I’m just looking, searching for that guiding hand.
