Venus (Aphrodite) is the all-revealing shameless embodiment of love, and the most notoriously irresistible Goddess. Her realms are love, beauty, the arts, fertility, and sexual rapture. It is said Aphrodite could make any man fall in love with her by them just laying eyes on her. Her divine nature is not the giving or receiving of love, but the sweet, simple surrender to being the ecstatic state of love herself.
She is portrayed with her sacred flower, the perfect rose, within the ocean from which she first emerged in the heart colours of pink and green.
