Kathy, this is so cool the way you`ve got twilight fading to night from left to right, and the lovely effect of that thin layer of water on the beach reflecting in some places and transparent in others. A beautiful capture of a magical scene. Did you get the star effect on the lights from a small aperture with long exposure setting, or was that done with post pro. Either way, it`s one stunning shot!

Billyboy – I used f22 to get a long shutter ( 30sec) and that also gave the star effect. Post processing to adjust exposure, colour and contrast and some noise reduction.
