I think Meningie was one of the nicest places I’d ever seen, when I visited there back in 2000. I can see by your shot I was right :) I’m a little troubled though, since I always thought it was on Lake Alexandrina, rather than Lake Albert? Anyway, whatever lake its on, it will always be a special place to me :)

Thanks Mel, Lake Albert is a small extension of Lake Alexandrina so nearly the same really. I’m not surprised you liked it – it’s a beautiful spot!

Arodmell – we get lots of beautiful sunrises and sunsets in Australia but even I had never seen a sunrise like this one before and we had a similarly spectacular sunset the same evening.

I was very fortunate to be spending a weekend at Lake Albert at the time or I may have slept through this sunrise. Thanks again.
