I came across this pretty bush in the grounds of the Royal Horticultural Society at Hyde Hall, near Rettendon in Essex. Its name “Hebstfreude” means “autumn joy” in English. As it was then June, it was too early for its autumn glory, but I thought that it was still pretty enough to take a picture of. The biological name, according to the notice is “sedum”. Presented here in a virtual mirrored frame, the original unframed picture is available on request.
