Monsoon

Carry forth a different sky
Gaze at a beautiful moon
Now I cease to defy
The splendorous monsoon

Whether pink, grey, white or blue
The sun escapes below the deity
Stars glitter on black scenery renewed
And I cry with rage and envy

Cry the night it seems so sad
With its cats and sombre shadows
What melancholy slumber such never had
In thick and scattered dreams I wallow

Am now I moving in my sweat?
I toss away my camouflage
But quickly I am but too forget
The lost bewitched realm at large

Crystalline figures reflect the stream
A shiver runs up my spine
Nothing is here to achieve my dream
Yet here I feel sublime

Again and again I see the stream
Fraught with excitement fear and pain
But triumph always sends its beam
Through the darkness of the rain
