I`m still reeling from losing my girlfreind of six years about a week ago…Soooooo down.

oh scott… sorry to bring pain to mind… you know I thought you were feeling low last week, felt it – and ‘salt’ was a bit dark too… well the only advice I can say is that it all happens for some reason… even if it hurts now, there could be something around the corner to further evolve your life and you as a person. Fate finds us.

Khylan, when I read your comment I was like… well, when I wrote this about 12 years ago I was completely obsessed with the vampire chronicles… seriously and completely… so that was a lovely memory of time gone by for you to bring back to me… the poem is a bit of a metaphor… i got heaps of poems been lazy with putting them here so stand clear – more on the way. I been doing performance poetry a bit this year… sooooo much fun.

It`s like I know the sun`s shining, and the birds are chirping somewhere…I just can`t see them through the fog right now.
I`m a pretty resilient person, I`ve just got to hold on while the sun cuts it`s way back through to me..

Kath, it’s a beautiful poem and transcends the vampirism to a more everyday life scenario even…allthough i did love those Anne Rice novels too…
