I was looking for a holy well in the Carron area of the Burren, Co. Clare, Ireland, when I walked up again to the road and saw the old church ruin of Carron from an unusual angle. Normally you would see it from the road at eye level. Which is also a nice sight. But taking the picture of the church from below meant to emphasize the drama of the clouds above.
I turned this photo into a black and white one and increased the contrast for an even more dramatic effect.
