Storm Rider by Kathie Nichols

Storm Rider by

“As I regained consciousness the storm was gaining momentum. I had strapped myself to my raft knowing that I may well not survive the night. As the dawn approached I struggled to hold on to what was left of my makeshift raft. My hands and feet were raw from the rope that I had used to secure myself. The size of the waves was terrifying and I prayed that with the new day the storm would pass and I would be safe…….”

Macro photo from a palm tree. Canon S3IS super macro.

Amazing colour and texture, the description fits perfectly.

  • Thanks Paul…I was quite excited about this one. This tree was right next to my table where I had lunch on Friday. Some people actually approached me and wondered what was so interesting to photograph so close to a tree..LOL!
