“Two dark figures disappear into the unknown. Father and son venturing into the edge of civilization as they know it….banished to forever wander the edge of their world never to return.” Abstract macro photo taken from a timber work bench, splashes of paint and cut grooves in timber making a beautiful futuristic landscape. Canon G12, canon filter adaptor with macro lens x 4…focal length f/4.5 focal length 6mm exp 1/25
Visited my friend Jen Hutchison today on the Tweed, this work bench is her hubbies “Rex”…thanks rex for your beautiful accidental benchwork :)))

Wonderful, Kathie. Love the lines and colors. Never know what you can find in workbenches, wooden stepladders, etc. Fun to look! The more I look at this the more I see masts of a sailing vessel, with the two dark figures at the bottom standing on the ship’s deck. The beauty of abstract art…everyone sees something different!

  • Hi Dot, I was so excited when I found this, I have a few more in the series which I will post gradually…..great to hear your view….ships seem to be popular . :)))
