Oh is this amazing or what! Like molten lava solidified. Love the touches of yello green here and there, I think signifying new life!
Thanks Joanna, I’ve discovered the newer bark is quite lovely like this one, but I have an earlier photo with very dry old bark and it is rather different,
such an interestiing tree :)))

super effects in this macro
Thanks so much Anna, pretty much right from the camera, it had been raining so the tree was very wet which naturally enhanced the colours, a little sunlight bouncing around….then just some contrast and white balance in GIMP.
