Thanks everyone. I immediately thought of inside a volcano looking out where there’s some snow towards to top. Then thought of how primitive tribes used to throw people into volcanos….hence the title!!!

As always Kathie you present a visual feast of rich colour & textures. This one is very Salvador Dhali to my eye’s. I see a central figure wearing a white hood. A bit like a hood worn by a linch mob from the wild west. Not that I am old enough to remember but you know what I mean. In front of the figure is an elongated arm which is grabbing his throat. The arm looks like its a branch which has taken on human form. What am I seeing here. Answer, another gorgeous macro image. XX

stunning, I think you’ve enough for a couple books on this subject.your thoughts behind the shots are as great as the shots themselves.That makes for great books.
