Kathie there is always something so peaceful in you art. I feel connected to nature and the universe when I look at these. Your works bring the outdoors to one who is in an apartment with windows facing another apartment. Wonderful textures and quality. There is a somber depth in these dark earthy tones. Beautiful.

I like how well you managed to keep the details in your dark values, particularly along the dark horizontal strip near the center.

In addition, I had to stare at it again. I don’t know where we’re all going with this subject matter, but you’ve really done it justice with this one Kathie. As a critique, I would say watch the edges where it gets blurry just a little bit. Compositionally excellent. Fav.

Thanks so much FIP, I would love to be part of an exhibition for abstract urban works…....and …I know lol…the trouble is all the good pieces are not flat and I’m not that great with the technical side of photography….hopefully when I buy a better camera I won’t have the same trouble with small sections out of focus…:D
