RICH Springs to mind here Kathie…Beautiful image.
Kathie Nichols replied
Thanks June, the rich colored clays are wonderful to shoot when washed up over paths and roads!!!

Kathie Nichols replied
Oh thankyou John, I always value your feedback on my work! :D
JonRussell
Now that is fantastic!!... Looks like an oil painting, you have a great eye for detail Kathie thats for sure!
Kathie Nichols replied
Thanks Jon! I actually started taking abstract macro shots in nature for inspiration for my paintings, then photography took over, I am now being drawn back to paint again and this would definitely be one to put on canvas or watercolor! :D
kjgordon
the colors are amazing…who would have thought
Kathie Nichols replied
I know…..its amazing….I love to treasure hunt after the rain and everything has dried a little! Thanks kj!
Joanne Bradley

Robin Brown
This has got the look of a tribal cave painting that has faded over the 1000’s of years since the artist painted it. To me its a hunting scene. All it takes is a little imagination!! xx
Kathie Nichols replied
Thanks Robin, I agree, a definite primitive feel to it!
A. JILL GAEBEL
Oooooh, pretty! This is very, very nice, Kathie. I agree with Robin, too..it’s like a primitive painting and it’s “canvas” has turned to gold.
Kim Calvert
What amazing detail and color..love that something like dirt and rust can be turned into such beauty.
