It’s lovely Kathie, don’t know what it is though, may have been rusted by water on it’s content?

I see some sulphur and iron, beond that it’s hard to tell. Whatever the makeup of the rock, it’s absolutely beautiful; wonderful capture! It makes a very warm, autumnal abstract.

Kathie this is so beautiful and makes me think of Emily Dickinson….I can actually see her bending down and writing something….so I share a poem she wrote, with you…....
This is my letter to the world,
That never wrote to me,—
The simple news that Nature told,
With tender majesty.
Her message is committed
To hands I cannot see;
For love of her, sweet countrymen,
Judge tenderly of me!....Her work was not discovered till after her death in 1886 having suffered a two year illness. Her sister and one of her few friends began to edited selections of her poetry. It was not until 1955 that her complete poems were made available in a variorum edition published by Harvard University Press. Only seven of her poems were published, anonymously, in her lifetime, Dickinson’s work is now widely known and appreciated…..thank goodness! Your wonderful work Kathie made me think of her this morning! Hope you are well? Thinking of you!Sx
