This reminds me of the different phases of the Moon. There are many systems of belief which relate to cyclical waxing and waning of the Moon to the natural cycle of birth, growth and decay. The Moon became linked with the powers of the Earth Goddess. Symbolically the male was sulphur, depicted as red, solar, hot, and active – while mercury was female, white, lunar, cold and passive. I know you probably weren’t expecting this Kathie but this is what it brought to mind! I hope you are having a good weekend? Thinking of you and sending you a big hug!Sx
