Nightscape

Nightscape by Kathie Nichols

Nightscape

“The cold wind howled across the plains, a feeling of uncertainty was rising in my chest. The landscape was dark and gloomy and the moon shed little light from behind the windswept clouds. I thought I saw figures moving along the lake by the village. What were they carrying? Why do they not have lanterns to light their way? The silhouette of the church steeple loomed in the distance, near but yet so far. The rendevous should be in 30 minutes time…..would I make it there without being intercepted?”

Macro photograph taken from a rockface! It’s amazing when the earth is cut to make way for a highway or some sort of construction. All these wonderful colours and textures have been hidden for maybe 100’s or 1,000’s of years. And then they are exposed for all to see!

I love the colors in this and the texture. It looks like an abstract painting.

Kathie, with our inner eye we can see what binds us. What ties us, may appear as a hook, a rock, a tree trunk. There may be many different variations linking us to that special person or people. There are times when we need to set them free and allow ourselves to become autonomous once again. This requires you to cut the emotional and psychic tie. You must remember you are not cutting your love from these people. You are taking responsibility for yourself and becoming powerful in your own right!Sx
