I see beauty in even the most ordinary things, and I try to show that in my drawings and paintings. It is my hope that each of my pieces tell a story or evoke a fond memory or feeling.
Many of my inspirations involve hidden treasures… Not the grandeur of a sunset, or the majestic swell of the sea in storm… but the inherent simplicity and awe that is found in the tiniest little rock among the thousands of rocks on the beach, or the slight twist in a piece of tree bark, as it gently caresses a cherished toy hidden in it’s boughs. This is the beauty of life itself, that so many people overlook. I love to see those things that others miss, and bring them out for their day in the light, to be revered and admired for being themselves and for persevering and playing their own small part in the grand scheme of the universe.

To take what the eye sees, and combine that with what the heart feels and the mind imagines… I’m not there yet. But that’s my dream!
