“The Language of Evolution”
2010
Etching

This little etching examines the language of evolution – rather than the evolution of language (though that is illustrated there)… It aims to have a little fun.

The plate itself was twice etched, first with the characters, second with the language evolving in the background, giving two depths in the plate for the ink to settle into and resulting in an interesting print.

Printed onto stonehenge paper.

I love painting, mostly with watercolour, but occassionally with acrylic too. I love drawing. I love printmaking. In 2010 I relocated to Toowoomba, QLD, to study a Bachelor of Creative Arts at the University of Southern Queensland, majoring in Visual Arts and in Marketing. I am now in my third year which I will complete in Semester 1, 2013. I have also recently been invited to study honours which I am have now enrolled in to commence Semester 2, 2013.
