Feeling History by Kate Purdy
Art Shegonee travels the world to create cultural awareness, (www.callforpeace.org) and he kindly let me follow him for a few days at the Indian Summer Fest in Milwaukee, on the shores of Lake Michigan. Art travels the world sharing his culture with amazing grace and intensity. It was truly an honor to follow him. We are now good friends and are collaborating on a book together. Art has given his permission to sell this portrait for the benefit of the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in South Dakota. Thank you, Art!
