I self-taught myself photography in the year 2009.I use it as an auto-biographical outlet of sorts, and thrive on the spontaneous thrill of creating all my self portraits on a ten second timer.
I most appreciate comments on my photos as I learn and draw inspiration from them. Thank you again! I feel genuinely honored you are here to view my work.

Each image by Katarina is an invitation into aspects of her inner and outer worlds. Creatively weaving autobiographical elements into her art, and engaging herself as the model, Katarina shares with her viewers, strong and vivid portraits of her dreams and emotions, her hopes and fears, her relationship to life and death.
Like visual portals to her soul, Katarina’s images uniquely communicate a depth and presence without ever revealing her eyes, or full face. It is within this mystery of physical identity that the viewer begins to relate to the subtler components of personality decorating her art: the timeless qualities that fuel her creations.As you gaze upon Katarina’s images, you enter a dimension in which she choreographs the sensuous movements of her own form within the luxurious, natural and human made environments that she shoots, most of them on her twenty-acre ranch.With a ten-second timer on her camera, Katarina swiftly steps into her portraits, drawing from spontaneity to inspire her artistic expressions.
