A lovely image Kasia – it really works with the background figure

A clever and fine composition. An image that says much as the more you look at it.
Two bag carriers, humble purchases in one with perhaps designer in the other. The sombre tones of the aged contrasting with the more upbeat color of the more youthful and the differing skirt lenght – and the perfect use of focus.

All in all – ‘street’ at its best!

  • Thank you for your comments Martin. The contrast between the two ladies you’re talking about – this is exactly what I had in mind when I saw the pedestrian on the other side of the street and quickly took the shot.
NB. This is the same street where the “dwarfs” shot was taken.

You have a wonderful eye for “the moment”.
