The centre of this orchid captured at nose-length seems to be an airborne creature looking back at me. Reminds me of Peter Pan.

Nikon D7000, Lensbaby Composer Pro, Double-Glass Optic, f/4 aperture disc, 10mm macro adapter. Hand-held, manual focus – not easy in the humid orchid gardens of the botanics after heavy rain. Captured in RAW. Slight adjustment of sharpness, tones, etc. in CS4.

Location: Botanic Gardens, Singapore, Asia.
