    A B&W version is a must Kasia!
Reminds me of those famous B&W shots of Glasgow!
    :o) xx

  • Thank you for the compliment:-) I’ll have to try out a B&W version to show Edinburgh can have famous B&W shots too:-)) When I find some time – a bit busy just now.

I see what you mean Kasia, a sign of life not being what it always was for so many in the past, whatever happened to our manufacturing industry, sad to see,
    Regards, Rod.

  • Rod, sorry, I don’t know how I missed this great comment. I took this about thirty years ago but it keeps coming back to me about how times change. I passed the exact spot a few weeks ago when I was in Edinburgh and of course it looks completely different. You’d never know there had been a station there. Although many parts of Leith itself is experiencing a revival.

  • Ooh, that is a great honour. I wasn’t sure if this would even fit the group’s guidelines. So I’m doubly pleased that this was not only accepted but that you deemed it worthy of a feature. This was taken long before I caught the photography bug and although the quality of the image is not so good, I liked the theme and composition. Thank you!!!

    Very evocative composition.

  • Ken, I’m pleased this caught your eye. Thank you for that compliment, especially as this was taken long before I captured so long ago with a simple but good point-and-shoot.
