I always think of Strasbourg first and foremost as a city of waterways – intertwining rivers and canals -, squares with little cafés or big restaurants, half-timbered houses and delicious down-to-earth food. It is also the vibrating international seat of a number of European institutions.

Location: Strasbourg, Alsace, France.
Nikon D70, Sigma 18-200mm. Post-pro adjustments in CS2.

Born in Scotland, at home in Europe, I am a passionate semi-professional photographer with eclectic tastes who loves to travel and capture images of our beautiful world. Check out my gallery or contact me directly for contract work or customization.

Superb, it looks a stunning place.

  • Colin, Strasbourg is definitely worth a visit – maybe on your way to Vienna! Stopping off in Munich too of course.

Love the composition and reflection in this image

  • Gerry, thank you! I’m pleased you like this. It was rather overcast day unfortunately so I’m pleased it came out so well.

It is also lovely that you took time time to delve into the depths of my gallery.
