A small, quiet bodega in a side street in the lovely city of Palma de Mallorca. I didn’t think at the time to check if you can actually see the castle from there, as the name and sign imply:-)

Listed as one of the top 10 tapas bars or bodegas in Palma on travel page in The Guardian online.

Location: Palma de Mallorca, Mallorca, Spain

Oooooops, sorry, wrong link, I meant this one

  • Thank you for the link, Tom. As it was hidden away in the old town, I’m not sure they can actually see it. But I have found a nice write up about Bodega Bellver

A wonderful characterful image, love it.

  • Thank you – it was wonderful wondering around the city. So many motifs that most visitors don’t even notice:-)

A great image. So full of character.

  • Christine, thank you – that is a good description: It seemed to mirror the character of the old town.

The Daughter of my cousin in England is married to a chap who comes from Palma….
One of the nicest guys I have ever met. His name is Rui…. ( and we love him )
What a great place to go to for a holiday.
They were married there and I fell in love with the place when I saw their wedding snaps.
( one of these days I am going to get to Spain )

  • Larry, sorry – have been away for a few days. I fell in love with Majorca a few years back. I was lucky enough to stay with friends away from the main tourist areas and get to know the island better. Have been back a few times since and hope to go back again. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you to get there.
