22.09.2012. The 2012 Oktoberfest got off to a rather wet start today but the beer tents were full as hundreds of thousands of Munich citizens and visitors from all around the globe flocked to the biggest festival in the world.
Capture and post-pro of a painting on the side of one of the tents in 2007.
Location: Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
Nikon D200, Sigma 18-200mm. Captured in RAW. Post-pro in CS4 with NikColorEfex. Added embossing and bevelling to look like a nostalgic enamel sign.
Sold a postcard! Thank you so much to the anonymous buyer.

Greetings from the Oktoberfest!

Well done…. I love it…
And aren’t they gorgeous…
The Oktoberfest here in Melbourne is small but brilliant.
I hope I’m back in time to attend it this year…?
Larry, thank you.. Yes, they are gorgeous:-) It’s funny to think that there are Oktoberfests all over the world. Cheers, Kasia

I would not like to meet those frau’s on a dark night even if they are laden with bier. Great find.
Make mines a half Kasia!
Crackin artwork! You should’ve taken the tent home!
It should be in a frame!
