From my series World from Above. A shot taken from a commercial flight just before landing in Edinburgh, descending from the east over the Firth of Forth.
My heart always beats faster when Edinburgh comes into view:-)
Arthur’s Seat is the peak of the hills forming most of Holyrood Park, more or less in the centre of the city of Edinburgh, just over a mile to the east of Edinburgh Castle. Height above the city is approx. 250.5 m (822 ft) with excellent panoramic views. Relatively easy to climb but be warned there is no pub or cafe at the top!
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland, UK
