Did you get to try guga?

  • Ranald, no. Only had some delicious scones. Not sure if it is available all year round or only in autumn.

PS: For anyone who is curious: Guga is the meat of young gannets (sea-birds).

this is what i need, a day at the beach. nice work Kasia!!

  • Adrian, I’ll join you at the beach. It wasn’t that warm though – water around 14°C and the air not much better. But there were kids swimming when we arrived and a school sports day taking place on the beach. brr.

Gourgeous beach, would have preferred to have spent my day there today for sure:)

  • Maggie, thank you very much. A nice place to spend the day but the temperatures there are much lower than in OZ – water around 14°C and the air often not much better in summer. But I love visiting those islands.

If only I could find a job there!
    Beautiful artwork Kasia :O) xx

  • Well, the location is definitely “away from it all”, and you can get the Internet to keep active on RB, and home deliveries from Tesco online:-)
    Thanks, Kasia
