Amazing works of art by Mother Nature captured in the Partnach Gorge on a cold winter’s day – approx. -15°C. The walkway gouged out next to the natural gorge is about 750 metres long and well worth a visit at any time of year but particularly spectacular with the icicles mid winter. The walls of the gorge are up to 80 m high.
The lower entrance to the gorge on the river Partnach is located a couple of kilometres from the Olympic Ski Jumping Stadium in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Location: Partnach Gorge, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, Germany.
