Captured in the Underground railway station at Marienplatz,Munich, Germany. I loved the composition I could see in my head and waited a short while until the masses had passed. Then I saw this lone traveller and snapped away.

NIKON D200, Lensbaby Composer Pro, no aperture disc. 50mm, ISO400, 1/60s, manual focus. Captured in RAW and converted to jpg in CS4. Adjustment of contrasts.

    A stunning capture Kasia.

  • Don, thank you. Not sure if there are shining tunnels in the Underground these days – I have memories of rather dark, dingy and sooty tunnels miles below street level. But my commuting days in London were a while ago.

that’s pretty cool! looks like a great place to do a commercial shot or some kind of music video. i wish our stations looked like that here.

  • Hey, Adrian. Thank you!
That is an idea! You’ll have to come to Munich to make the video – and check out the other glitzy station architecture in MUC. And visit BMW, of course:-)
