Golden delicious Kasia! French Marigolds? Not African? I prefer the larger African variety.
Super duper cool shot :o) xx

  • Thanks, Robin:-)
They’re Kasia’s Balcony Marigolds and ideal objects on a rainy day and they seem to survive year after year no matter how much or little I water them, so my fave flowers:-)
I just googled and they are French marigolds, so you are right, Mr. B.

My Fav’s too Kasia but the African variety are a lot bigger so they fill up the garden better. Not that I’ve done a lot of gardening but Marigolds get my vote :o) xx

  • They are very pretty but they’d swamp my balcony boxes…. The boxes are more than enough gardening for me and I get colour and photo opportunities thrown in:-)

Reminds me of a song; living in a box, living in a cardboard box!
If yuo listen closely enough you just might hear your Marigolds singing this one :o) xx

  • I just checked, but at the moment their singing “I can’t stand the rain” LOL. Kasia

Just love Tagetes not as showy as there big cousins but I like them better! Great capture!

  • Colin, I am fascinated by the different colour combinations on each bud. Each year I collect a few of my favourite heads as seeds for the next year. And the following year they provide different combinations again. What more can I ask for? Thank you for your lovely comment! Kasia
