Captured during the first Full Moon Festival of the new lunar year in February 2011. The old town of Hoi An is traffic free and the river is aglow with candles as the people enjoy the festivities. Many familíes sell paper candles to float on the river.
Location: Hoi An, Vietnam.

what’s the highest the temperature got in average the whole time you were there?
Adrian, it was February and we started with around 14-18°C drizzle and cloud in Hanoi and Halong Bay, flew down to Hoi An in Central Vietnam to sun and a really pleasant 24-27°C, a short detour north over the pass to Hue rain and a cool 20°, before flying south to 34-35° and a very muggy haze Saigon and the Mekong Delta. My suitcase had for every weather except for snow – but that’s what met me when I arrived back in Munich:-(
