Travelling back from Tarbet to Stornoway on a moody Sunday afternoon. Stopped to capture a couple shots of Loch Seaforth and the remains of bothy.
There are many abandoned houses and crofts along the route, a sad reminder of the Clearances and the economic downturns of the last century that have forced thousands to leave.
Location: Loch Seaforth (Gaelic Loch Shiphoirt), Isle of Harris or Lewis (not sure I’m afraid), Outer Hebrides, Scotland, UK
Nikon D70, Sigma 18-200mm, Cokin grey grad filter. RAW. Post-pro in CS2 with NikColorEfex filters.
