Super capture, great old ruin …

  • Tom, thank you. There were many interesting nooks and crannies, interesting crosses and other details to make it well worth the visit. And the road to get there had some fantastic views too. Kasia

So much history in those ancient walls and so very well photographed Kasia, would love to visit Islay soon,
    Regards, Rod.

  • Rod, you are so right about the history. There were lots of details to examine and to wonder about what stories the walls could tell. Islay is well worth a visit for the lovely landscape, coasts, such historical sites and, of course, the 8 distilleries:-) Even for those who don’t enjoy a tipple. Kasia

What a great capture of a time in history! I hope to someday be able to travel to Scotland and see these places for myself, but until then thank you so much for sharing!!

  • Hi Heather, thank you for your kind words. Scotland is definitely worth a trip – in the meantime please feel free to travel through my gallery for more shots of the mainland and the Isles, which I just love. Kasia
