Kildalton Church is well worth a visit on the beautiful inner Hebridean island of Islay. It is home to the beautiful Kildalton Cross dating back to about 8th century AD.

Rod, you are so right about the history. There were lots of details to examine and to wonder about what stories the walls could tell. Islay is well worth a visit for the lovely landscape, coasts, such historical sites and, of course, the 8 distilleries:-) Even for those who don’t enjoy a tipple. Kasia
