The BMW Tower is the headquarters of BMW and part of the Munich BMW complex together with the BMW Welt, BMW Museum and a section of the factory.
It was originally built in 1972, completed just in time for the Olympic Games, and has been a Munich landmark for almost 40 years, with renovation work in 2004- 2006. The design is based on the four-cylinders of a car engine.
It was made a listed building by the Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Historic Buildings and Monuments in 1999.

If I remember correctly, did you take something from here a while ago ??
    .
    These two are just amazing.

  • Thank you very much, Larry!
I have a whole series of BMW building shots I took on two occasions – late December 2008 and February 2010. These two are both from 2010. The other one that includes this building was taken from across the road on the first shoot. Cheers, Kasia

Another super shot of this wonderful complex Kasia – you should follow Larry’s suggestion above.

  • Bob, thank you very much. I’m hesitating as I’m not sure of the legal situation selling such calendars of these buildings.

  • Paul, thank you! The whole BMW Welt complex is heaven for architectural photography. You have to get the right light – but looking at your gallery, you know all about that;-) Cheers, Kasia
