BMW Welt: Aerodynamic Curves by

Architectural detail of the walkway joining the BMW Welt and the BMW Museum across the road. Captured in the later afternoon winter sun.

Located near the BMW factory in Munich, the photogenic new building houses the delivery centre – if you personally come to pick up your new car:-) – events, exhibitions and shops and is linked via this bridge to the BMW Museum and offices next door. Well worth a visit when in Munich, even if you’re not picking up a car!

Location: Munich, Germany.
Nikon D200, Sigma 18-200mm. Post-pro in CS4.

    Now that is special.

  • Gary, thank you. I had a great time wandering around with the camera – a bit like a kid in a sweetie shop:-) I captured this on my return visit the next day.

I fully understand what you mean about the “kid in a sweet shop”. When I am taking photos I get lost ina world of my own. It is a form of meditation. Many years ago a mentor gave me a great piece of advice. He said, “just before you press the shutter ask yourself if you will want to frame it and put it on the wall”. He was so right. Have a great day
