The whole area is well known for these humocky meadows (Buckelwiesen). The wavy ground developed in a complex process following the ice age and are conservatin areas, where the farmers are comitted to use certain traditional methods in order to preserve the natural balance areas. Over two hundred types of wild flower and plant grow on this alkaline soil. It was around -15°C but bright and sunny.
